Estelle "Toby" Young

Estelle “Toby” Young 73 Of Indianapolis. Passed away on Saturday December 29th. She was Born September 25th 1945 to the late Charles Isaacs and Bertha Derm. She worked at Riley Tack and Feed of Avon, Indiana where she retired from. Toby was also a foster parent for many years. She was a member of Mars Hill General Baptist Church. Toby was many things to many people. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Toby has many “Adoptive Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.” She opened her home to those who needed a place to lay their head, a hot meal, a shoulder to cry on or just someone to listen. She enjoyed spending time with her family and talking about the good ole days.Her Grandchildren and her Great Grandchildren were her world and she would be sure to tell you about them. She loved her animals ever if she complained about them daily. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday January 8th 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral with family visitation at noon. Her services will be held at 2:00 pm where after she will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery. Toby is proceeded in death by many but we know her Parents, Sisters and Brothers were waiting to welcome here home. Survivors include her Husband Robert “Bob” Young of 31 years. Her Children: Linda Stuelke (Jeffrey Smith), Julie Rose Winkler (Steven Winkler), and Jeff Rose. Her Grandchildren: Crystal Roberts, Kenneth Stuelke, and Mandi Winkler. Great Grandchildren: Ethan and Austin Roberts, Lily Rhodus, Levi Tipton.

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path, God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Task left undone must stay that way
I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void

My life’s been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

God wanted me now, He sat me free.
