Eva went on to swim at Fullerton College in California and eventually received a bachelor’s degree in physical education at Ball State University.
Some of Eva’s other life accomplishments as remembered include… As a 10 year old she won first place in the 50 yard butterfly at AAU Marion County Championship. As a 12 year old she placed 2nd place in the 100 yard butterfly. While attending Fullerton Junior College, she helped organize the swim team, became captain and led the team from last place in the conference to first place.
Eva had various jobs but enjoyed working for herself most of all running her own cleaning company for many years. She retired in 2017 and went on to do what she loved most in life which was saving cats and kittens that had been dumped and left to die in the wild. She would catch them fed them, and give them a loving home until she could find someone to adopt them. And she loved the two dogs in her life Tracey and Henry.
She then started her own Commercial Cleaning business. In ten years she built it and had a contract with Ernest Borgnine’s wife’s makeup business, which was took one whole floor of a commercial building. She then moved to Indianapolis and eventually started another business. She retired in December 2017 and in January 2018 discovered she had some heart issues. She had a hard time from April 2018 until her passing on April 11, 2019.
