FELICIA RENEA TROTTER, affectionately known as “Poppie”,
was born on August 3, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee to Creed Judkins
and Ida Jewell Trotter-Jenkins. She was a twin girl born to a family
of six children. She relocated with her family at an early age to
Indianapolis, Indiana where she received her primary education
through the Indianapolis Public School system. She held various
positions in the domestic industry and later became a full time care
giver. Felicia never let any grass grow under her feet. She liked to be
on the go.
Felicia gave her life to Christ at a young age and carried Him with her
throughout her time here on this Earth. She was the life of the party,
when she entered a room, her presence lifted the spirits of those around
her. She was nothing short of honest, true to herself and others. Felicia
loved to dance and listen to good music, enjoying good company. Her
heart was big and she was caring, always making time for her loved
ones and being helpful wherever she was needed.
Felicia “Poppie” departed this early life to be with the Lord on
February 22, 2024 at the age of 54 years. She will be dearly missed by
those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Creed Judkins and Ida Jewell Trotter-Jenkins.
Felicia leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, Veronica Jenkins-
Myers, Theresa Trotter, Jada Trotter-Johnson (Claude), Barry Jenkins,
twin-sister, Alicia Trotter-Davidson (Terry) and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
