She was a loyal servant of Jehovah and her faith never wavered, even in times of illnesses.
Flo was a wonderful sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, cook, seamstress, childcare provider, family and friend’s emergency contact you could always count on her to answer the phone. She loved to accentuate her outfits with jewelry Avon was a favorite, talking with friends and family on the phone, a nice seafood restaurant, soap operas back in the day, listening to her kingdom melodies, and most of all her Sugar puddings (you know who you are).
Florence M Ball departed this life on Sunday February 26, 2023, at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Deforest, Richard, Michael, Alice, Sherman, McKinley, Leighowen and daughter Sherry. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Frank, her children Monica, Travis, Andrea, and Adria(Don). From Matthugh:
Mawmaw had a long, beautiful life, full of so many people that love her. She lived long enough to see all the legacy she created. She touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of meeting her, there will never another Florence Mozelle Ball, but inside of all of us is a piece of her that will live on and be passed down for generations. The ones that come after her will have the privilege of learning of her greatness, and beauty from us that knew her. I am thankful for her unconditional love and her ability to instill such values in myself.

Just Around the Corner
And you watch the clouds roll by.
Then you’re walking in the valley
As the sun shines in a clear blue sky.
You’re welcoming your loved ones,
And you can’t believe your eyes.
Yes, this earthly Paradise
Was just around the corner.
And a house high on the hill.
There is singing by the river
As the water flows and turns the mill.
The golden fields are waiting.
Let the harvesting begin.
Once the world we’re living in
Was just around the corner.
(BRIDGE)
It’s great to share with friends who care
The things that we looked forward to.
Now ev’ry tear has disappeared.
The world is young, and life is new.
And the scent of new mown hay.
Now you’re calling to your loved ones
As you start another perfect day.
Then we thank our God, Jehovah,
For his tender loving care.
Yes, the blessings we all share
Were just around the corner.
(BRIDGE)
And evʹry day I smile and say,
“How good to see your happy face!”
ʹCause once, it seemed, I only dreamed
That you’d be in my warm embrace.
Is a world I long to see.
It’s a promise from Jehovah.
It’s a guaranteed reality.
And it’s hard to get downhearted
When I think of what’s in store.
It’s the day I’m waiting for,
And it’s just around the corner.
He Will Call
1.Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
2.Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay,
From death he will awaken.
Then we’ll come to see all that life can be:
Paradise eternally.
(CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They will live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we will live forever,
As the work of his own hand.
