Frank Daniel “Hammer” Walker

69, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 12, 2017. He was born on September 17, 1947 to the late Frank H. and Betty J. Walker. Dan joined the US Navy in 1969 and served for 4 years. He was an electrician with the Electrician Workers IBEW Local 481 for 41 years. Dan was also a member of the Moose Lodge #17, and recently became a member of Lodge #500.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above. He is survived by, wife, Karan (Brown) Walker; 3 stepdaughters and 5 grandchildren; brother, David R.(Kristine M.) and their children and grandchildren; brother Dale T.; brother Dean J. (Crystal L.); and several extended family members, along with lifetime friend, Rudy (Bev) Candido.
Celebration of Life will be from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Moose Lodge #500 Outside Pavilion, 4917 W. Vermont Street, Indianapolis, IN. Arrangements by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
