Frank Joseph Lipkovitz, the cherished son of Richard Walter Lipkovitz and Shirley Ann Lipkovitz; Was born on July 11, 1967 in Blue Island, Illinois. He passed away on September 7, 2024. He leaves behind a loving family including his two daughters, Nicole (Tanner) and Faith Lipkovitz; his beloved grandson, Tyler Partain; his sister, Cindy Whelan (Sean); and his niece and nephews, Cori, Ryan, and Matthew Whelan.
Raised in Riverdale, Illinois, alongside his younger sister Cindy, Frank’s fun-loving and adventurous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. From an early age, Frank developed a passion for the outdoors. He loved four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time in his garage working on his beloved Jeep. He was the life of every family gathering, where he would organize spontaneous hayrides, play hours of volleyball, and take his loved ones on golf-cart rides.
Frank had an incredible sense of humor, inherited from his father, and his laughter was contagious, bringing joy to every room. His loyalty to family and friends was unmatched, and he was known to give the shirt off his back to help those in need.
Frank could build or fix anything, from cabinets to homes. He spent much of his life building cabinets, culminating in his work as a highly valued employee at Cabinet Crafters. His craftsmanship and work ethic left an enduring mark on both his professional and personal life.
Outside of work, Frank’s heart was dedicated to his family. His daughters Nicole and Faith were his pride and joy, and his grandson, Tyler, was the light of his life. He enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding, shooting pool, and indulging in his favorite Mexican food. A die-hard Chicago Bears fan, Frank never missed a game.
Frank’s love for his loyal dog, Diesel, was unparalleled. Diesel was his constant companion, and in Frank’s eyes, he could do no wrong.
Frank Lipkovitz will be remembered as a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
