Frederick Joseph Lennartz, 73, passed away peacefully in his home on March 12, 2020. He was born March 11, 1947 to Geraldine and George Lennartz.
He graduated from Anderson High School in 1965. Following high school he proudly served his country as a United States Marine from January 1969 to January 1972.
He married his beloved wife, Mary A. Lennartz on September 14, 1973.
He was a great family man who loved and cared for his five children Laura (Dee) Alexander, Lisa Barker, Bobbie Spay, John (Heather) Lennartz, and Joseph Lennartz. He was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren Aaron, Anthony, Marijo, Melissa, Austin, Aubrey, Ayden, Francisco, Stefanie, Christa, Jason, Amy, Billy, Joshua, Justin, Adam and Ashley, along with many great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Mary A. Lennartz. Children Laura (Dee) Alexander, Lisa Barker, Bobbie Spay, and John (Heather) Lennartz. Sisters Sue Knotts, and Mary (Tom) Harmes.
He is preceded in death by his father George J. Lennartz, mother Geraldine M. Lennartz, and his infant son Joseph Frederick Lennartz.
