Gary Alan Napers

Gary Alan Napers, of Avon, IN, passed away on Monday, April 22nd, 2019, at the age of 70.
Gary was the father to three sons, David, Daniel, and Jonathan Napers.
Gary attended Indiana University School of Radiation Therapy, and worked for many years as an X-Ray Technician and Radiation Therapist in the Indianapolis hospitals of Wishard and Winona. Gary was also dedicated to life-long learning, studying Psychology at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, and earning graduate degrees from Calvary Christian College and Seminary, Emmaus Bible College, and the Center for Biblical Research at Liberty University.
Gary was also a Vietnam –era veteran, having honorably served in the Army Reserve as a mechanic from 1968 to 1973.
Gary had a passion for nature, finding joy in spelunking in caves, hiking in State Parks, and spending time at the Great Smoky Mountains. He also loved to collect and watch classic war movies.
Gary is survived by his three sons, David, Daniel (Karol), and Jonathan; his four grandchildren, Alexandra, Daniel Jr., Tate, and Josie; his brother Steve and sister-in-law Linda; and sister Linda.
A memorial service will be held at Vineyard Life Church Brownsburg (6690 E US-136, Brownsburg, IN 46112) on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019, at 6:00 pm.
