Of Greenfield, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023 at the age of 79 when he was able to see his Lord face-to-face.

Gary attended Tech High School and then went on to graduate from Indiana Baptist College in 1984. He was extremely talented tile setter and owned his own business for over 50 years.

He was a founding member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Gary was a devoted Father, Papaw, Brother, and soldier in the Army of God. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, railroad hat and his baby blue eyes.

The love, devotion and loyalty that Gary had for his family was known by all.

He is survived by his four children, Tamatha Caudle, Tonya (Richard) Reynolds, Gary Tidd, Jr and Joseph (Ashlee)Knudsen. Grandchildren Tasha(Timothy), Drew (Kimberly), Victoria, Richard Samuel, Gianna, Courtney, Sabrina (Matt), Jaysimine, Mercedes, Gary Andrew, Joseph Junior, Connor, Laela, Annabelle and 12 great grandkids. Siblings, June(Ron)Midgley, Jim(Sandy) Tidd, Linda (Tim) Barnes, Daniel (Stephanie) Tidd, Kathy (Jim) Skaggs, Penney (Dave) King. And 74 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Wendell (Jean)Raney, Robert (Martha) Raney, Barbara (Bob) Langford, Mike Tidd, Mark(Cathy)Tidd and Patricia Keppel.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon on July 29, 2023 at Lighthouse Baptist Church 6950 E. Raymond St., Indianapolis and visitation will start at 10:30 AM.
