Glen Thomas Cartwright

Glen Thomas Cartwright, born on September 25, 1937, in Franklin, Kentucky passed away on February 15, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A proud veteran, Glen served in the Army for 2 years and then the reserves for 6 more years. Later he would put his skills to use at Western Electric for 25 years until they closed the plant. Not ready to retire, he worked at Zimmer Paper Products where he was employed for the remainder of his career. Glen was a proud member of North Eastwood Christian Church as well.

Glen loved sports of all kind, but especially bowling and fishing. He participated in numerous bowling leagues over the years, including some with his son Randy. Fishing was what Glen would choose to do to ease his mind and get into nature. He took many people in the family fishing over the years to share his love and knowledge. His favorite fishing spot was at his brother Jim’s place.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Leonard and Ethel (Gann) Cartwright; his wife Sandra Cartwright; and sister, Jean Houston.

His memory will be cherished by surviving family members. His children, Randy (Pam) Cartwright, Kim (Brad) Sink, and Julie (Adrian) Matthews; grandchildren, Kaylee, Garrett, Austin, Breanna, Ryan (Karissa), Brittany (Seth), Bethany, Starr, and Josiah; as well as six great-grandchildren.
