Gregory Agee

March 27, 1959 — November 2, 2020

Noblesville, IN

Gregory J. Agee, 61, left this life on Monday, November 2, 2020 to enter his eternal home. He was surrounded by his spouse who held his hand through his last breath. Finally, his pain had ended, and he has been set free. He gained his Angel Wings and can now soar high.

Gregory was born in Muncie, Indiana but grew up in Anderson. He attended Anderson High School as well as Anderson University where he majored in Christian Music. A master at the piano, he loved to play and make the joyful noise to his Lord and Savior. He loved being active in his church until his health interfered.

Gregory was a florist by trade and moved to Oklahoma to own his own shop. He was very talented and became on of Tulsa’s top florist. He received several awards for his creativity and his work was featured in all the National Museums in the city.

While in Oklahoma, he met the love of his life. They shared a special and loving bond and were never too far apart. Their journey was meant to be as 31 years later it was time to say goodbye for this time.

Gregory had an infectious smile, a warming and caring nature, and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved helping anyone that he could and took great pride in all his efforts. He could light up a room with his entrance that would make you happy you had met him.

Gregory is preceded in death by his mother and father, James H. and Nannie Mae Agee.

He is survived by his spouse, Wayne Duncan of their home in Noblesville. He is also survived by one brother, Michael Agee of Anderson, as well as many cousins, and family of friends.

At Gregory’s request, there will be no service or memorial. He had a simple request that you tell someone each day of the love you have for them, as the next day is never promised.

Transition has been entrusted to Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson.
