Gregory Moreno Contreraz, 44, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent 86th St in Indianapolis on October 6, 2021. He was born on March 30, 1977 to the late Emilio Contreraz and Sally Contreraz.
Greg worked in the food industry for many years, specifically Bob Evans and Cracker Barrell. He was a fun-loving, outgoing man who didn’t know a stranger. He would walk a mile to give you the shirt off his back. He was a huge Dodgers fan and cheered for them every time. He was hilarious, always making everyone laugh. He loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Greg is survived by his twin daughters Brittany Contreraz, Brianna Contreraz, two sons Micah, and Kaden;2 granddaughters Solene Lara and Sineya Saavedra; siblings Mario Contreraz, Emily Contreraz, and Trinidad Contreraz; mother Sally Contreraz; Aunt Stella Gonzalez; cousins; nieces and nephews Caitlin, Sarah, Emma, Sarah, Mario Contreraz Jr., and Emilio Contreraz; and cousins Monica Gonzalez and Valeria Gonzalez.
He is preceded in death by his father Emilio Contreraz; grandparents Moreno; and Uncle Alex Gonzalez.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021 from 10-12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, IN.
