Gregory "Red" Laine Randolph

Gregory “RED” Laine Randolph, age 61, of Anderson, passed away at home after a hard battle with cancer on February 20, 2021. He was born on March 4, 1959 to Malcolm and Ruth Randolph.

Greg was a loving, hard-working, caring man. His love for his family and his friends were unmatched. Greg was a member for St. Ambrose Catholica Church for several years. Throughout his life, Greg worked at VanDyne Crotty/CINTAS for 29 years, then at EMGE for 14 years. He had a wonderful relationship with all his co-workers.

Greg’s life revolved around his wife, daughter, and two granddaughters. He would do anything for those girls. He spent a lot of his past time fishing, watching, or playing sports, camping, reading books, or watching movies. He was an extremely avid movie buff. Greg was special to so many people and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Greg is survived by the love of his life, wife of 35 years, Vickie Randolph; daughter Brittney Randolph; granddaughters Chloee Randolph and Carlee Randolph; siblings Jay Randolph (Spouse), Torin (Cindy) Randolph, Lanny Randolph, and Damon (Denise) Randolph; mother Ruth Randolph; sister-in-law Patty (Steve) Dale; brothers-in-law Brian Tames and Rick Tames; 9 nephews; 3 nieces; a wonderful work family; many special friends; and his gang of 4 legged friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Malcolm Randolph.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 1-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.

We ask that in honor of Greg, if everyone could please wear red to the services in his memory. #RedStrong.

There will be a dinner after the funeral service on February 27, 2021 at The Fire lodge 105 1/2 west 53rd street from 530 to 8 Saturday evening. Everyone is welcome.
