HARLEY THEODORE WILLIAMS was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ralph Lorenzo Williams and LaDonna Louise Roundtree on July 22, 1960.
HARLEY attended Indianapolis Public Schools #36, #66 and Shortridge High School. After high school HARLEY volunteered for the Army.
HARLEY enjoyed watching sports and loved walking in his neighborhood. He would often help neighbors with yard work or anything they needed done around their house. He had a sweet spirit and quiet demeanor. He was not long on words and would typically respond with a short response of “Yep” and “Nah”. He will be sorely missed.
HARLEY lived with his sister Diana Roundtree for the last 14 years. She was not only his sister but also his caretaker.
HARLEY THEODORE WILLIAMS departed this life on December 5, 2018 at the age of 58 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Roundtree; father, Ralph Williams and brother, Michael Williams.
HARLEY was a tissue donor and will bless others with the gift of sight as well as bone and skin tissue.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his sisters, LaBirta Yarbrough, Diana Roundtree, Marsha Wells (James) and Renee Thompson (Ted); brother Ralph Roundtree, son Harley T. Williams III, two grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends who all loved him dearly.
Harley’s service will be at 12pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 11am until the start of the service.
