He began his working at Wendy's before transitioning to Rally's, where he poured his fun-loving personality into all he met there. Hayden's family and friends remember him as loving with a hilarious sense of humor. He attended Pendleton Schools for most of his academic years and later transferred to Anderson High School for his junior and senior years.
Those closest to Hayden will forever cherish the memories they have of him. His love for playfully engaging in activities like using orbi guns and joking around with loved ones will be fondly remembered. He especially found joy in being an uncle, creating lasting bonds with his nieces he adored. Hayden found solace in nature through fishing and camping expeditions. His love for these outdoor activities reflected his appreciation for the simple pleasures in life and the importance of spending time with family and beloved cat, Oscar.
Hayden Vanduyn will be deeply missed by his surviving family members and friends. While they mourn his untimely departure, they also celebrate the impact he had on their lives. His lively personality, quick wit, and unwavering friendship leave behind a legacy of kindness and laughter.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Nicole Sidwell (Todd) and Conway Vanduyn (Natalie); siblings Heaven Vanduyn (Charles), Kenzie Vanduyn, Mason Vanduyn, Sophie Morris, and Madyson Vanduyn; grandparents Walter and Lori Lane; nieces Paislee Vanduyn, MaKayla Gerhard, and Charli Gerhard; best friend Jodi Hersberger; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his cousin Austin Cook; grandparents, Clifford and Joyce Vanduyn, great-grandparents Warner and Norma Lane, George and Shirley Mezick, and Ollie Castor, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
