Herbert Dean Clifford Jr

Herbert Dean Clifford, Jr., passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 66, due to an extended illness. He was born on August 14, 1953.

Herb is predeceased by his father Herbert D. Clifford, Sr., mother Barbara J. Crawford, and brother Jack D. Satterfield, Sr.

Herb is survived by his loving wife of 2 years, Jodi.  They were married on October 6, 2017, having been together for a total of 19 years.

He is remembered and loved by four sisters, Linda S. Clark (James), Joyce E. Leisure, Marilee J. Olgin (Art) and Jeannette G. Ivey (Don), son Donald Clifford, Sr. (Sarah), daughters Nicole Gaertner (Paul) and Gina Marie Sherfield (Brian), step-daughters Dana Lawson (Tim), Patricia Slavings and Vera Swank, stepsons Robert Warden, Sr. and Neal Slavings, 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Herb enjoyed his career in truck-driving. He retired from TRX Trucking in January of 2016. He loved riding his motorcycle, flying, and listening to country music.  Most of all, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and they loved spending time with him!

His visitation will be held at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services at 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221, on Monday, November 4, 2019, 1:00-3:00pm, cremation and interment to follow at a later date.  A reception will follow visitation at 8015 Minlo, Indianapolis, IN, until 6:30PM
