Mr. Herbert Lee Neuhausel

Herbert Lee Neuhausel, age 91, of Indianapolis, IN died on Thursday, October 22 at Beech Grove Meadows Nursing Facility.  He was born on August 18, 1929 in Indianapolis to the late Sylvester Edwin Neuhausel and Marion Estella (Baudendistel) Neuhausel.

After completing his education, Herbert enlisted in the US Army.  After his honorable discharge he went to work for Amtrak, where he retired after 37+ years.  He was also a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

He is survived by a son, Herbert Neuhausel, Jr.; brother, Arthur Neuhausel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy;  children, Raymond Neuhausel and William Otis Neuhausel; siblings, John E. Neuhausel, Mary Alice Grubbs and Richard S. Neuhausel.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
