Horace Kelcy Jones

Horace Kelcy Jones (peanut) 63 of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 7, 2019 at his home. Kelcy was born in Asheville North Carolina on April 19, 1956 to Horace and Nellie Mae Lunsford. He resided in Anderson IN for most of his life. He worked many years as a carpenter and always liked taking things apart and fixing them along with collecting many different unique items. He loved his family and friends and was very compassionate and caring towards everyone he came in contact with and never met a stranger. He always liked to make people laugh and was always a prankster. He was know for his big smile, friendliness andwonderful sense of humor. Since he was a young boy, he never left home with his flashlights and now he will have them to light his way into the arms of our heavenly father. He is loved and will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.

Kelcy is survived by his daughter- Chelcy (Tara) Wooten; Grandchildren – Tarin (Josh) Arnett, Dylan

Wooten, Breanniah Wooten, Da’Leigha Wooten, Cory Wooten; His mother – Nellie Mae Jones-Lunsford; girlfriend of many years- Debbie Zierer; Siblings – Nellie Mae Hart, Sandy (Danny) Corley, DonnieLunsford, Brenda Gopalakrishnan, Norma Jean Lunsford.

Kelcy was preceeded in death by his ex-wife- Marcia Jones (mother of his only child); Father –

There will be no services held and cremation will take place.
