Iris Janet Cheek

Iris Janet Cheek age 75 of New Palestine, IN passed away May 3, 2020. She was born on December 14th, 1944 in Trammel, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Geneva Duke.

Janet retired from bookkeeping for various Indianapolis companies in 2013. After her retirement she enjoyed flower gardening and playing with her cats.

Janet is survived by her brother Robert Leon (Betty) Duke, her sisters Patricia Burris and Sherry (Rick) Turner her son, Richard (Laura) Wells, her daughter, Linda Wells and her grandchildren, Karina Wells, Kurtis Wells, Shayla Barnes and Kara (Sean) Armstrong.

Due to the current gathering restrictions related to COVID-19, a celebration of Iris Janet’s life will be held at a later date.
