Jacqueline Mae(Warren) Reynolds

of Indianapolis, passed away on June 9,2016, just after celebrating her 86th birthday. She was born in Decatur, Indiana to the late Edward and Zilpha Warren. Jackie graduated from Decatur High School, to move onto the St. Joe School of Nursing in Ft. Wayne, IN and then to Indiana University, in which she completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She worked from1951-1955 at Adams County Hospital, then Indiana University Medical Center from1955-1972. In 1972, she transferred to Wishard Hospital, and retired after 20years of nursing service in the operating rooms.

She was associated with the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, American Business Women’s Association, along with being a charter member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.

Jackie was a member of the Lawrence United Methodist Church, where she met her husband of 17 years, William Reynolds. They spent their time together setting up travel excursions for AARP and the church, and got to see many places and be introduced to lots of good friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband; 4 nieces; 4 nephews; and many good friends.

JJackie was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Kathleen Raatz.

Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services , 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue. Funeral Service will be Tuesday,June 14, 2016 at 11am at Lawrence United Methodist Church, 5200 N. Shadeland Avenue. Burial to follow later that day at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Lawrence United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association.
