On March 11, 2021 James Brian Lindstaedt passed away in his home after a brief battle with cancer.
He was a lover of golf (both playing and watching) who also enjoyed auto racing. Prior to the pandemic, he enjoyed attending races and events at the Indianapolis Speedrome.
He spent his career in automotive repair but when the physical work of car repair became too much, he transitioned into an accounting/book keeping role that he managed until he fully retired in December 2020.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved spending weekends watching baseball games and random shopping errands with them. If you had a conversation with him in the last 2-3 years, you probably heard how amazing they both are and how proud he was of them
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dorothy Lindstaedt, younger brother David and his wife Jane.
He is survived by his Daughter and son-in-law Jason and Virginia, their children Paige and Dylan as well as his older brother and sister-in-law John and Kathleen.
Celebration of life services are pending at this time but family and close friends will be notified of plans once they are finalized.
Please feel free to share any favorite memories with the family here.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) in his name or the Alzheimers Association in Jane’s name.
