James Dean Saltsman

James Dean “Jimmy” Saltsman, 63, of Mooresville, IN, passed away on February 14, 2019.  He was born on August 5, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James E. Saltsman and Norma Jean (Bolton) Staples.  Jimmy was a life-long resident of Indianapolis, and, over the years, he worked in Indy as a painter and mover.  In his free-time he enjoyed fishing, camping and playing cards…more specifically, he loved cheating at cards.

He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above, brother Kenneth Saltsman and sister Rachael Clifford.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tina (Mills) Saltsman; brothers Joe Saltsman, Kerry Saltsman and Tony Saltsman; sisters Angie Tuyub, Caroline Abercrombie, Norma Mckinney and Pam Saltsman; children Angel Brewster, Daniel Brewster, James Brewster, Natasha Couch, Tabitha Guffey, Ashley Mills, Latasha Nunn, James Oliver, Jeffrey Oliver and Tony Oliver; 43 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jimmy’s life and to reminisce, grieve and support each other at the visitation from 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services location at 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, with burial to follow at Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, IN.
