James E. Pierce Sr.

James E. Pierce Sr., 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 17, 2019. He was born on March 26, 1938 in Elizabethtown, KY to the late Sam Pierce and Gladys Cole. Jim was a 20 year retired U.S. Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his sons, James Pierce Jr., David Pierce, and Bobby Pierce; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Maria R. Pierce, along with his parents, both mentioned above.

Service will be at 11am on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 10am until the start of the service. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, IN.
