James Edward Pearson Ii

James Edward Pearson II, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 16, 2020. He was born on May 24, 1951 in Indianapolis to the late James and Mildred (Engles) Pearson I. James graduated from Thomas Howe High School in 1969. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1971 to 1979, deploying to Guam. James was a pipe fitter for Citizens Energy, retiring in which he worked for 25 years. He was a member of the rifleman’s assoc.

James loved to do crossword puzzles, going to concerts and drawing pictures of himself and his brother in a Corvette Stingray.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth.

James is survived by his daughter, Alissa Gibbs; granddaughter, Brooklyn Wilburn; Maria Gibbs, Gianna Gibbs and Dasha Gibbs; siblings, Jamie (Pearson) Ott and William “Buddy” Pearson.

Visitation will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 1:30pm. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
