James “Jimmy” MichaelReneau

56, of Indianapolis,passed away on March 3, 2017. He wasborn on November 8, 1960 to the late James L. and Betty Reneau. Jimmy graduatedin 1979 from Warren Central High School, and has lived most of his life in andaround Indianapolis.

Jimmy was a memberof the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for his father at Reneau Electric as an electrician from 1980to 2005. After that, he had his ownelectrical business. But in reality,Jimmy lived to golf. His favorite spotwas the Morning Star Golf Course, where you would find him every day as long asit wasn’t a snow storm or hurricane.

Jimmy is survivedby his: children, Bobbi Barger (James), Natasha Reneau, and Jason Reneau(Megan); grandchildren, Miles James Barger and Waylon David Reneau; sister,Barbara Reneau; niece/sister, Beth Smith; and nieces and nephews, JordanBailey, Katie Smith, Brian Smith, Cameron Freeman, Zion Ray Smith. He is preceded in death by his parentsmentioned above.

Funeral service will be 3pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 atLegacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue,with visitation from 2pm until the time of service.
