James, who passed after a prolonged illness was preceded in death by his wife Carol Kinley, his parents Joseph and Mary Margaret Kinley, his sister Joan Kopp (Bill), and his brothers Joe and John. He is survived by his children Jim Kinley (Susan), Connie Brown, Jerry Kinley (Angela), Tim Kinley (Dana), and Cheryl Delmolino; his grandchildren Dustin Brown (Chelsea), Zachary Brown, Rick Brown (Jill), Jennifer Atherton (Lee), Andrea Rood (Jeremiah), Austin Kinley (Coltrin), Rayna Kinley, Sam Kinley (Mikayla), Tori Kinley, Johnson Kinley (Megan), Maggie Edgar (Casey) and Kate Finney (Sam), and Shawn Delmolino (Sarah); and great grandchildren Taylor and Tara Atherton, Clara and Charlotte Rood, Richard Cunningham, Isabelle Gardner, Jack and Lucy Edgar, Rylynn Kinley, Faith and Martina Brown, and Dominic Finney; and many nieces and nephews. Jim was born and lived most of his life in Anderson. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1954, then served two years in the U.S. Marine Corps. After the military, Jim sold insurance, and then worked for over thirty years at Delco Remy, where he retired. Jim was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus in Anderson. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time at his cottage on Lake Irish of the Barbee Lakes. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Jim at the Knights of Columbus in Anderson on June 20, from 1-3PM. The gravesite service will be held separately for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
