James Norman Bayless

77, of Bloomington,Indiana passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 in Indianapolis. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia onMarch 31, 1939. James grew up with 8sisters and 5 brothers, and moved to Indiana when he was about 18. He was a huge sports fan, watching everythingfrom basketball to football, especially the IU Hoosiers. He retired from St. Francis after working inthe maintenance department for 20 years.

James is preceded in death by his parents and his son,Raymond. He is survived by his children:Elizabeth “Sis” Cage, and James Bayless; his grandchildren: Ericka, Jimmy Brittany,Jazzmane, and Alisha; and his great-grandchildren: Lydia “Lil Bug”, Aaliyah “Yah-Yah”,and Waylon.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. onMonday, February 6, 2017 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence,5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burialwill be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana followingservices.
