Jamie Paul Carr

Jamie Paul Carr, age 45, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on July 5^th, 2019. He was born on October 16, 1973 to James and Ruth Carr.

Jamie was born in Indiana but was raised in Lakeland Florida. After graduating from Lakeland High School, he returned to Anderson where he met his wife Tara. Jamie was a plumber for most of his life.  He was a devoted family man, exceptional father, proud papaw, and loving husband. If you knew Jamie, you knew he was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan. He spent most of his time with his family fishing with his mom, mushroom hunting with his dad, and game nights with his friends. Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife Tara (Mooneyhan) Carr; Mother Ruth (Graham) Carr; grandma Zona Carr; Children Jonathan, Desiree; grandkids Keyomi Noel, and Jaxon Paul; his loving puppies Mater and Mazie; and several close family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father James “Wayne” D. Carr, grandparents Jim and Rachel Graham, and grandpa William E. Carr.

A visitation will be held on Monday July 15, 2019 from 4-7pm with a funeral service beginning at 7pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Rev. Ed Purciful will be officiating.
