Jamie Renee Mier-Black, 41, of Anderson, IN, passed away on January 2, 2019. She was born on November 15, 1977 in Anderson to Debra (Maynard) Burns and Jay C. Mier. Jamie graduated from Highland High School in 1996, and from Indiana Business College in 1998. Everyone who knows Jamie knows that she loved her tanning oil, lumps in the noodles, singing in the car, purses, and jewelry, especially diamonds … yes, she was spoiled. But most of all, Jamie loved her family and close friends, especially Greg, her 3 girls, and grandson, Rico.
Jamie is survived by her husband of 14 years, together 16 years, Greg Black; daughters, Jadelyn Jones (Marcus), Madelyn Mier, and Azaira Black; grandson, Rico Jones; mother, Deby Burns (Jack); father, Jay C. Mier; mother-in-law, Barbara Jean Black; brother, Jason Mier; BFF, Rhonda Cox; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Services will be at 4pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 504 W. Ninth Street, Anderson, IN, with visitation starting at 1pm until the start of the service.
