Janice Anne Ryan

Janice Anne Ryan, age 79, of Anderson, passed away at her home on November 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 30, 1942 to the late Gerald Wilson and Julia (Helvie) Wilson.

Janice was a graduate of Anderson High School, Class of 1961. She later worked for Mayflower Moving Company for several years, along with Anderson Qualific for around 10 years. Janice was an outspoken, outgoing, independent woman. She was adventurous and had a great sense of humor, always cutting up with everyone around her. She loved to spend time camping, bird watching, golfing, bowling, and ice skating. She was extremely active throughout her life. Her and her family loved to go to races around the country and enjoyed Nascar and sprint cars. She was an animal lover, always feeding the birds and squirrels. She was a wonderful cook. She spent most of her time with her best friends and her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janice is survived by her two sons Scott Crisler (Kara) and Andy Crisler; stepdaughter Pam Ryan; grandchildren Stephanie Dumas (Sam), Shawn Crisler (Kylie), and Katlyn Crisler; caregiver Toni Johnson; and best friends Judy Gullmire, Joan Anson, and Linda Banter.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and brother Jerry Wilson.

Cremation was handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
