Janice Lynn Taylor

Janice Taylor, 70, of McCordsville, passed away of cancer on March 30, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on March 5, 1951 to parents Thelma Crail and Edward Strum.

Janice was married to James Taylor.  Her children are Tracy Becraft, Tammy Nickels (deceased), Marvin Austin, and Shane Austin.  Her grandchildren are Mark Becraft, Charles Becraft III, Mariah Adair, Brian Smith Jr., Jerry Parker, Shea Austin, Shaine Austin and Jelena Austin.

Janice’s brothers and sisters are Sandy Metcalf, Shirley Steadman, Mike Strum, Vicki Inclenrock, Tom Strum, and Mary Bradley (deceased).

Janice worked in factory business for 37 years and retired in 2016 at the age of 65.  She was a selfless person who loved her kids.  She enjoyed going to casinos for fun. Each year she travelled to Gulf Shores, AL and Arizona for vacation and always got homesick!!!  She will be remembered as having a great sense of humor.
