Janice Marie Cokley

Janice Marie Cokley, age 85, of Anderson, passed away on April 7, 2020 at Community Hospital. She was born on February 15, 1935 to the late Bruce Manuel and Doris Jackson.

Janice was an outgoing person, always loving to joke and make friends. She was a joy to see at any restaurant she worked at, always bringing a smile. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janice is survived by her children Elaine Hamlin (John), Diann Meador (Terry), Marianne Etchison (Don), and Tom Cokley; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Cokley, parents listed above, brother Dennis Jackson, granddaughter Dawn, grandson Christopher, and great-granddaughter Jillian.

Donations can be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.

A private family service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
