Jean Maxine Woodward(Navel)

Born in Brazil, IN, January 20^th, 1924 & Died July 14^th,2016 at home in Indianapolis, IN. She had undergrad BA work at IU, and Masters in Education from Michigan University. Jean is a retired schoolteacher, worked for IPS for 49 years, and primarly assigned to Arlington High School, where she had taught English Literature, Creative Writing, and Latin. She also taught WWII cadets typing and office skills at Camp Atterbury. Her strong work ethic, and the care she showed for all her students,insured she was always met with esteem and gratitude when running into former students.

Jean is survived by her: 2 sons, Mark and Scott Woodward;granddaughter, Christine Woodward; and 2 great granddaughters, Avaya Butler and Aubrielle Maxey. Private family services are arranged thru Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
