Jeffery Dale Antoine

Jeffery (“Jeff”) Dale Antoine passed away on February 9, 2025. Jeff graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School. He had a long career in the trucking industry, beginning as an over- the-road truck driver and then in logistics as a corporate compliance director until retirement. Never one to stay idle, Jeff continued his home projects and sharpening his Words with Friends skills and learning 5 languages on Duolingo, including Gaelic (often confusing his wife). He was even considering some further education in forensic and investigative sciences. Jeff loved to travel. Not one for the beach, but diamonds mines in the South, and the Badlands and Crazy Horse were some of Jeff’s most favorite places. Adding to his adventurous spirit, Jeff loved the roar of the Stock Cars at Gas City (not to mention those, Pizza Burgers!) and the air shows at Grissom. He also loved going to renaissance fairs, hosting 4th of July celebrations and attending his grandchildren’s baseball and softball games. Jeff was a Jack-of-all-trades, and always everyone’s go to person. There was never a problem he couldn’t fix. If he didn’t know the answer, he would help you find it. Caring, compassionate and charismatic are the words to describe Jeff. Jeff was kind and generous and always made sure his family was taken care of. Jeff was much loved and will be truly missed. Jeff is survived by his family which includes his wife, married daughter and grandchildren and siblings.

 The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
