Jeffrey Allen Hughes

Jeffrey Allen Hughes, born on February 4, 1961, in Elwood IN, passed away on July 13, 2024, in Anderson, IN.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeffrey's true joy came from coaching his children in sports during their formative years He was a dedicated and supportive father who always put his family first. Known for his selfless nature, Jeffrey was the type of person who constantly thought about others before himself. His sense of humor and caring attitude endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his familial roles and career pursuits, Jeffrey found solace and enjoyment in watching sports. An avid fan of Nascar and the Colts football team, he could often be found rooting for his favorite teams with passion. Golfing was another interest that brought him relaxation and contentment. One of Jeffrey's proudest accomplishments was graduating from college with his Bachelor's degree, a testament to his dedication and perseverance in pursuing education alongside his other responsibilities.

Jeffrey Allen Hughes will be dearly missed by his surviving family members including his children Damon Hughes, Kelsey Hughes, and Griffin Hughes; siblings Tracy Hughes, Dana Campbell, and Amy Hughes; nieces and nephews Brandon, Jordan, Megan, Mandy, Bre, Tyler, Brooke, Shelby, Sara, and Sophie; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jody Hughes and parents Gordon and Shirley Ann Hughes.

His legacy of hard work, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
