Jeffrey Ryan Walker

Jeffrey Ryan Walker, age 46, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2021. He was born on January 30, 1975 to Bruce Anthony Walker and Susan Rose (Nickol) Walker.

Jeff was a graduate of Highland High School in Anderson, class of 1993. After graduating, he preceded in doing many odd jobs, most recently working as a night shift shelf stocker at Payless Grocery Store. Jeff was funny and had a raw sense of humor. He loved being at home with his family, fishing, or shooting guns. Most importantly Jeff loved all things music. He was extremely passionate about the music he listened to and was always listening to or recording music. He was a wonderful husband, dad, brother, son, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff is survived by his wife Jennifer (Chandler) Walker of 6 years; children Ashtyn Melton (Jason Gary II), Alexis Wattenburger, and Alexander “AJ” Wattenburger; grandson Jason Gary III; siblings Erin Wire (William) and Miranda Walker; nieces and nephews Andrew Wire, Amaya Wire, Jamison Rainey, Jasmyn Rainey, and Clayton Rainey; parents Bruce and Susan Walker; and sister-in-law Jackie Rainey (Dave).

He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Julie (Chandler) Kinnett; maternal grandparents Orville and Pearl Nickol; and paternal grandparents Robert and Mary Lou Walker.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 10-12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Bronnenburg Cemetery.
