Jennie (Saubert) Chastain, 45, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson after battling cancer for many years.
Born on June 8, 1979, to Marilyn Saubert and Larry (Esther) Saubert. Jennie spent almost her entire adult life caring for others as a nurse after getting her LPN degree from Ivy Tech. Her nursing career took her to Middletown Nursing Home, Dr. Woodall's office, and St. Vincent Anderson, where she cared for her patients with kindness and compassion.
Beyond her professional life, Jennie's creative spirit shone through her love of crafting, which allowed her to express her imagination and talent. Most importantly, she cherished moments spent with her friends and family.
Jennie is survived by her parents; son, Bryce Chastain; brother, Casey Saubert; sister, Bonnie Jones; and long-time partner Tim Lacy.
Jennie’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this time.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
