Jerald Thomas Conner

Jerald “Tom” Thomas Conner, 63, of Greenwood, IN, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2018. He was born on July 24, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Anna Conner. Tom graduated Class of 1973 from Roncalli High School, Indianapolis, IN. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 135. Tom retired in 2007 from Zenith (Kroger) warehouse, where he had worked for 28yrs.
Tom loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the president of The Conner Family Reunion held annually. He liked to watch the Chicago Bears, go fishing, play basketball, and hang out with his friends from “the neighborhood”.
Tom is survived by his wife, Catherine (Dowling) Conner; children, Derek & China (Phelps) Conner, Angel (Chandler) Wetter, Charlie & Angie (Chandler) Watson; siblings, Dawna Conner-Burrin, James Robert Conner II, Joseph Michael Conner, and Angela Padgett; grandchildren, Lyrical & Memphis Conner, Khayn & Trevor Wetter, Chandler Watson, Cole & Alaina Watson, Kayla & Todd “Boogie” Pritchard; great-grandchild, Knox Pritchard.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above, along with his daughter, Lori (McKinney) Hawkins, sisters Theresa Conner and Deborah Conner, and cousin Michael Windburn.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203 with visitation from 9am to 11am in the church prior to Mass.
