Jerry Lee Allen

Jerry Lee Allen, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 27, 2020.  He was born on October 4, 1948 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Vernon and Kathleen (Ray) Allen.  Jerry graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1967 and he was the Meat Department Manager at Marsh for many years, retiring in 2010.  Jerry was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and enjoyed helping the children in Awana.

Jerry loved many activities including camping, fishing, Nascar and football.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, and their two sons Jason Allen, Brian Allen and his wife Patty, and grandchildren David, Tiffany, William, Brian Jr., and Sara as well as five great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Nancy Morris and Donna Winn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above, along with his brother Robert Allen and granddaughter Breanna.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Service – Lawrence location.  Services are private due to COVID.  He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
