Jimmy Hoover, age 65, of Anderson, passed away on March 19, 2021 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. He was born on December 22, 1955 to the late Wilbur E. and Olive J. (Beason) Hoover.

Jimmy was a graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1974. He later in life attended Anderson College and became a Pastor. He pastored all over the United States, from Indiana to North Carolina. He was a dedicated minister and Christian who loved the Lord. Jimmy was extremely giving and would always help anyone that he could. His favorite past-time was fishing. He loved to fish whenever he could and always caught something each time. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter Charity Elaine Hoover; grandchildren Sadie Mae Walters, Elianna Elaine Hoover, and William James Walters; Twin sister Peggy Kirby; brother Danny J. Hoover (Melody); and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jennifer Hoover; parents listed above; and siblings Gary L. Hoover, Ronnie E. Hoover, and Marilyn J. Bustos.

A visitation will be held on March 25, 2021 from 11-12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Carthage Cemetery.
