Joe Tom Wilson

Joe Tom Wilson, 73, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on November 7, 2018. He was born on October 1, 1945 to the late W. Autrey and Dimple Lee Wilson.

Joe was a stoic man who was dedicated to his family. He was reserved and humble and cared about the well-being of others. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend who was genuine, helpful, and dependable. He is a man that will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his children Holly Velez and Eric Wilson (Valerie); grandchildren Lance Wilson, Seth Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, Gavin Wilson, Cassius Velez, Liam Wilson, Cornisha Smith, and Qyn Boswell Jr; great-grandchild Uzziah Smith; siblings Elaine Wilson, John Wilson (Kim), and Connie Cooper (Don); niece Alysia Schmidt, and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Wilson; parents; and grandson James Burress III.

A visitation will take place on November 13, 2018 from 3-5pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service. A funeral service will take place at First Presbyterian Church, located at 230 W. 9^th St. Anderson, IN 46016 on November 14, 2018 at 12pm.
