John Allen Smith

Indianapolis, Indiana

John Allen Smith, 51, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Monday, January 17th at the young age of 51.

He leaves behind his life-long partner of 27 years, Teresa; his stepson, Zachary; daughter-in-law, Whitney; and granddaughter Aby; and grandsons, Connor, Cylas, Dean, and Samuel.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Barbra; and his sister, Susan. He leaves behind sisters, Jackie and Jane. His nieces, Maranda, Barb, and Ember. He also leaves behind his nephews, Chris and Kevin who were his best friends and were always by his side.

John was a soft-spoken man with a kind heart. He was an animal lovr who saw his dogs as his own children. He leaves behind three loyal friends – furry children Chloe, Deto, and Leela who always met him at the door when he got home from work.

He was a painter by trade, but he was also an ace mechanic for Car-X for 10+ years.

Teresa and John embarked on many adventures. Going on a cruise to the Bahamas. Every year, twice a year, they would travel to Gatlinburg, TN. They explored this world together by going canoeing, biking and camping.

John’s favorite hobbies included racing his remote control cars and boats. He would get mad whenever he would crash.
John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John – your work here on earth is now done. Rest easy Big Daddy. You are now on your Heavenly vacation.
