John Moberly passed away on October 30th in his sleep at home following a brief illness.
He was born on October 28, 1941 in Johnstown, PA, to John Moberly, Sr and Vivian Moberly.
He joined the Marine Corps out of high school and got to travel quite a bit and see the world. He did a tour in Vietnam. When he finished he came home to his wife and daughter in Indiana and began a long and distinguished career with the Anderson Police Department.
He enjoyed watching baseball, NCIS, and anything pertaining to World War 2. He also enjoyed having his family get together for a decent dinner and conversation. He was funny, very smart, and totally devoted to his wife and his daughters and their families.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda, and his daughters Amy (Jon) Roudebush and Beth (Bryan) Schulz. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
