John Moriarity

87, of Indianapolis passed away on September 5, 2017. John was born on October 2, 1929 in Indianapolis, to the late Mabel and Daniel Moriarity. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army, graduated from Hanover College with a B.A. in romance languages and later retired from Central Supply Company. He was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church, volunteered for Community East in the emergency room, loved music and laughter, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his children, Pam (Jim) Mount, Brad Moriarity; grandchildren, Mandy Lewis, Katie Brandolini, Kimberly Mount, Kristen Mount; great-grandchildren, Jensen, Isabella, Mia, Rocko; sisters, Nellie Kidd and Eva Arthur. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Patricia Moriarity.
A funeral service will take place 4:00pm on Sunday, September 10, 2017 with visiation one hour prior at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 E 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
