Johnny E. Mcglothlin

Johnny E. McGlothlin, age 53, of Anderson, passed away at Northview Health and Living on April 13, 2022. He was born on December 29, 1968, to Richard McGlothlin and Margaret Sonka.

Johnny was a true jack of all trades. He could do basically anything you asked of him. He was a kid at heart and loved life. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, play video games with his kids, and go camping and fishing. He would always help anyone in need and not one person didn’t enjoy his company. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, son and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Melissa McGlothlin; son Cody McGlothlin; stepdaughter Alexis Hulett; parents Richard McGlothlin (Lois) and Margaret Sanka (Joe); grandchildren Mathias, Dean, Zoe, and CJ; several nieces and nephews; cousins Kaylynn and Aubrey; special niece Heather Legg; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and beloved pets Blue, Macy, Figuero, and Oreo.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and several good friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2022, from 11am-1pm with a funeral servicing beginning at 1pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.
