Jon Lance Brogdon

Jon Lance Brogdon began life June 25th, 1962 in Anderson, Indiana, born to Sheriff Joe Brogdon and Letha Brogdon.

He took his last breath at home on March 6, 2018.
Jon graduated from Anderson High School and immediately went in the United States Marine Corp. He served in Camp Lejeune, Beirut, Lebanon, and Adak Alaska from 1980-1985. He was an expert marksman and manned the T.O.W. missile system.
After an Honorable Discharge, Jon became a police officer for Edgewood then Frankton Police Department from 1985-2015. After retiring, he drove for Venture Logistics and Likens Farms.
Left to treasure Jon’s memory is his wife, LeAnn; daughter, Angie (Joe) Schmitt; mother, Letha Brogdon; brothers, Dave (Cathy) Brogdon and Joe (Michelle) Brogdon; brothers of his heart, Mike Hale, Jeff Ehrlich, Rob Tucker, and Mike Kimmerling; special friends, Zach, Sophie, and Walker Mullins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jon was preceded in death by his father, Sheriff Joe Brogdon, and sister-in-law, Pam Brogdon.
Donations in memory of Jon may be made to animal humane societies.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 13 from noon until 1:00 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services. A celebration of Jon’s life will begin at 1:00. Cremation will follow.
