Jonah Michael James, 44, of Plainfield, passed away on September 3, 2023.
Jonah loved adventure and everything was always an adventure. His favorite pastime was fishing. Jonah was very helpful and he helped family and friends whenever they needed his assistance. He was a proud father and grandfather.
Jonah is survived by his daughter, Leeann James and her fiancée (Jacob Davis), his parents, Robey and Debra James, grandson Kaidence James, as well as his brothers, Ricky and Jeff (Amber) Scott, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle James.
Service for Jonah will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis with visitation on Tuesday September 12, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
