Jonathan Kemp Galovic

March 13, 1981 — February 16, 2025

Jonathan Kemp Galovic, born on Friday March 13th, 1981, in Indianapolis, IN, he left this earth quietly on Sunday February 16th, 2025, in Avon, IN surrounded by his loving family. Jonathan was for a lack of a better word a best friend, brother, uncle and certainly not least a one of kind son.

Those closest to Jonathan would say there was never a bad bone in him, he always helped those who needed it when called upon and when you needed him, he was always one call away. Jonathan cherished the times he spent with those he called a friend, from going to the basketball court to play, to the golf course to swing the iron, he enjoyed being as active as he could. He would take his niece to the golf course and let her drive the golf cart so she could have fun with the time they spent. He was incredibly proud of his niece and would talk about her accomplishments to everyone who would listen. Jonathan was also a very protective brother to his sister and at the end of the day wanted to make sure that she was healthy and happy.

To say that Jonathan was a Michael Jordan fan, would be putting it mildly. If you could see his collection of shoes to memorabilia is pretty outstanding. He was very proud of his sneaker collection as well as having a vast collection of basketball cards. He had been collecting all things Michael since he was very young, even writing to Nike to get noticed by Michael Jordan. He was also very creative; he would draw up his very own ideas of Jordan’s he would love to see come to life. To one of the many attributes that he had passed down from his own father, he also had a love for classic cars, since he was brought up around them from a young age.

Jonathan worked most of his life, like most of us these days started as soon as we were allowed. For most of his life was spent in communication and sales, he was always a good salesman and actually enjoyed doing it.

Jonathan lived with his mother and would help take care of her when she needed it, fixing things and being there for her, he was always a good son, knowing that we were a smaller family however our family was never just about blood. He had always had plenty of people in his life that we can call brother or sister that were there for him, and the whole family, without question. No matter the distance, we always had someone who was there for us.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Mandy Randle-Galovic, sister Molly Galovic, and niece Maddysin Galovic-Disney. He is proceeded in death by his father John W. Galovic.

Jonathan leaves behind a mother, sister, and niece that love him whole heartedly and yet devastated by this loss, hope that he has found peace. As his sister writing this for him, I hope that he has met up with our father, his best friend, all of our grandparents and watches over us from the great unknown.

The visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th, 2025, from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
