Joyce Ann Elliott

Joyce Ann Elliott 56 went home to be with Jesus on November 2, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Joyce was born to William Gene Elliott and Marilene Joyce Bever (Colestock) on January 24, 1968, in Anderson, Indiana.

Joyce worked many different positions, but her love of being a short order Cook was her favorite. She enjoyed her work at Job Shop for multiple years as well.

Joyce was proceeded in death by her father William Gene Elliott, sister, Teresa Joy Elliott, grandparents, stepfather, Donald Colestock nephews, Dylan Enterkin and Cody Strong.

She is survived by her beloved life partner, Brian Reed. In addition, she survived by her mother Marilene Colestock (Bever) her children, Dorris Raines (Akshay), Jacklin Moore, Eric Elliott (Nova), and Curtis Reed (Kaise). Her son Josh Overmyer was adopted as an infant, and he always felt the utmost gratitude to his birth family for placing him with adoptive parents who loved him unconditionally. She also leaves behind her partners children Brian Lee Reed (Jessica) and Wendy Brewer. Her sisters, Barbara Colestock, Tammy Elliott-smalls (JD), Amy Elliott-Williams (Joe M) and Peggy Elliott-Michael (Gary H) as well as multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her partners grandchildren whom she loved dearly. 

Her celebration will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at Legacy funeral home at 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN. 

Brother Roger Kinon will be officiating with cremation to follow.
