Judith Jo (Atkerson) Norman

Judith Jo Norman, 78, of Brownsburg, Indiana entered the pearly Gates of Heaven on March 10, 2022. Judy was born on July 17, 1943, to Helen M. Atkerson and Virgil D Atkerson. She graduated from Warren Central High School in 1961 and later Graduated from Ivy Tech Community college with an associated degree in social work. She worked for Woolworth Company and Daysprings Shelter. She was a member of Meadlawn Christian Church for most of her life.

Judy was a Loving wife to her husband Dallas Norman whom she married on August 4, 1962. The have three children, Don Norman, Rob (Cathy) Norman and Rachel Shirrell. Judy loved her children with all heart and soul. Judy also has seven grandchildren which she would always refer to them as her “Lucky Seven”. Shelby (Jake) McFaddin, Abby (Nick) Parnell, Zach Norman, Allison Norman, Sam Norman, Will Shirrell and Jesse Shirrell. Judy loved her babies more than life itself.

Judy was proceeded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law (Joe and Rachel Norman) and her son in law Bobby Shirrell.

Judy is survived by her Husband, children, grandchildren and her brother, Gary (Lois) Atkerson, her sisters Peggy Kennington and Kay (Mike) Peacock and her sister-in-law Anna Norman. She also has many cousins, nieces and nephews she adored.

A celebration of life will be on April 16^th, 2022, at Faith United Methodist Church, 9031 E 16^th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229 from 1PM-3PM with a short service at the end.

Judy loved the lord and her family with all she had. She will be missed until we all meet again.
